WELCOME TO THE PADUCAH SWIM TEAM WEB SITE
PHILOSOPHY: The Paducah Swim Team believes the sport of swimming can make a profound and lasting difference in the lives of its participants. A positive, competitive swimming program promotes life skills such as self-discipline, goal setting, perseverance, citizenship, and leadership. Physical exercise benefits not only one's physical health but also one's mental health and sense of well-being.
MISSION: To provide access for the youth of Paducah and outlying communities to a competitive swim program. To provide an environment in which each swimmer can reach his/her potential. To offer a program that remains focused on the swimmer.
SWIMFEST WORKER SIGN-UP
The Swimfest meet worker sign-up sheets are posted on the pool deck at the PAC, you will find them in a white binder. Remember, Swimfest is our biggest fundraiser, so everyone is involved for at least 2 sessions (8 hours). The actual volunteers may be parents, other family members, friends, etc. The jobs available are listed in the Swimfest newsletter. If you are uncertain about which job you would like please feel free to contact Susan Oatman or one of the Committee Chair people listed on the sign-up sheet.
